Derrick Coaxum is the Director of Public Services. He’s worked in this field for more than 25 years in Beaufort County.
In his career, Derrick has overseen a variety of projects, including the construction and maintenance of fire stations, parks, and a recreation center. He’s also supervised the maintenance of municipal public parks, roads, and facilities.
Derrick has received several awards during his career, including the Presidential Medallion from the Technical College of the Lowcountry; an honor he’s most proud of.
Derrick graduated from the Technical College of the Lowcountry and is a Beaufort County Native.
