Stephen Steese is the Town Manager for the Town of Bluffton. As chief executive officer for the Town, Steese is responsible for hiring and supervision of Town employees, implementing policies approved by Town Council, maintaining effective and positive relationships with public/private agencies and organizations that affect the Town’s interest, and more.
Steese previously was the City Administrator for the City of Easley, SC, and the City Manager for the City of Roxboro, NC.
Steese received his Master of Public Administration from Clemson University. He’s a member of various organizations, including the International City County Management Association and the South Carolina City County Management Association.
